Course Outline

Play

You will be asked to experience 2 different recreational settings during the Social section of training. For example, you might play with a guitarist, at an Old-time session, or at a Folk session.

 

Each of these 2 experiences will involve completing these steps:​

  • Engage in discussions online with other teachers 

  • ​Discuss the options available in your local community and nearby

  • Hear experiences from others

  • Learn what to expect and etiquette

  • Take part in a session

  • Group discussion: share your experience

Teach

  • Teaching the songs to students

    • Video: Teaching Levels 3-5

    • Video: Examples of students playing these songs

    • Make a video of a lesson teaching a song from this stage
